Handing over a community without losing documents or context
A safe handover includes an agreed cut-off time, complete export, discrepancy report, transfer of responsibility and controlled removal of access.

Agree the cut-off time
The parties should agree the date, time and data scope of the handover. Later operations belong in a separate register or an agreed transition period.
Build a consistent handover pack
Registers, balances, charges, banking, agreements, resolutions, cases, deadlines and change history must share a reference state and control totals.
Record discrepancies in the handover report
A missing document, unmatched payment or open case must not disappear in an email footnote. Every discrepancy needs an owner, deadline and status.
Revoke access and keep evidence
After confirming the handover, disable the former administrator’s accounts, tokens and integrations on the agreed date. Keep an execution report without exposing secrets.
